Internationally Mothers’ Union exists in 83 countries and has 4 million members.

Mothers’ Union resources provides funding for core programmes such as Literacy & Financial Education, Loving for Life and the Parenting Programme.  In some countries MU also employs regional staff, part funded by the local region and part funded from the central MU to raise the skills of the members in the area so that they can be more effective in reaching out to their communities.
 
Mothers’ Union tackles issues which destabilize family life: poverty, inequality of opportunity and countless eternal pressures which undermine the value of individual and family life.  Through community development, health education, through the provision of learning and through sharing of skills and knowledge we bring a range of practical solutions in order to bring about transformed lives and flourishing relationships.
