Willesden Area

About the Willesden Area

The Willesden area has twelve branches, with approximately 185 members.  The Area is divided into five Deaneries, Westminster- Paddington, Brent, Harrow, Ealing and Hillingdon.  Branches usually meet once a month, with some branches varying the day and times of their meetings to accommodate all members.

Members participate in fund raising activities, including the Richmond Run, outings, tea parties, knitting circles, and many are involved with food banks, hospital visiting and providing gifts for the Women’s Refuge in Marylebone.

The Area holds events, where we can network and meet each other. We hold an Annual Lady Day Service combined with a meeting and bring and share lunch. All are invited to St Michael’s Tokyngton for their Mary Sumner’s Day celebration. We collect bedding and household goods to be given to those in need.  Then, we meet at Holy Cross, Ealing and pack them into boxes for the Furnish Project.  A Quiet Day is held in October at Emmanuel Northwood, this is always very well attended.  All are welcome to join St John’s Greenhill for Christmas Lessons and Carols Service.

Our members are all friendly and supportive to each other and welcome visitors to their meetings and events.
